subject: Dating Advice For Men - Why Women Play Hard To Get And How To Handle It [print this page]

I think that it's pretty safe to say that women playing hard to get is not exactly a secret for most men. We all know that women are prone to playing hard to get and for some men, this is enough to drive them bonkers. Don't let that happen to you. It's really not that big of a deal when she does play hard to get and in most instances, then it is actually a good sign that she is doing this.

Women play hard to get for a couple of reasons. One reason is that it makes things more exciting. And you really cannot deny that it does not put you on edge and get your heart racing a little when a woman decides to play hard to get. So, that can be a good thing. Also, women will play hard to get to test you. They are used to having guys come after them and hit on them and they want to know if you are just another one of these guys or if you are really for real or not.

You cannot blame a girl for wanting to test you out a bit, can you?

So, how should you handle it when a woman plays hard to get?

First thing to do is to play it cool. Don't let it frazzle you and if it does, don't let her see it. Think of it as you having to put on the game face and if you do, in the end you will get what you want. When it seems like it does not phase you one bit, you are going to pass the test.

Second thing you need to do is to play hard to get yourself. Don't be there every single time that she calls you, don't pick up the phone on the first ring, play the game yourself. Now, a woman might tell you not to do this, but really look at what they respond to and not what they say.

What do women talk about more?

The guy that is always there or the one that they cannot get a hold of. If you don't know the answer to that one, hang around a few women while they are having a conversation about men. You can pretty much guarantee that the guy that plays hard to get winds up taking up more of the conversation than the one that is just always there.
