subject: How To Get Female Six Pack Abs [print this page]

It is commonly known that it is often more difficult for women than men to lose weight. It is also true that it is more difficult for women to achieve six pack abs than it is for men to achieve this feat. There are many reasons for this particular difficulty, but one of the main reasons is that men and women metabolize at different rates which results in a greater fat build up in a woman's midsection which hides the abs. It is possible, through diet and exercise, to achieve female six pack abs, but it can take a long time and a lot of hard work. So then how do you do it?

While there are certain exercises which target the abs, if you want to tone your female abs you should include these exercises as part of a comprehensive, routine workout plan. As you exercise your whole body you will gradually build up your stamina and increase your cardiovascular health which will, in turn, allow you to perform more exercises which can target certain areas of your body such as your abs. The most effective workout plans combine the use of machines with simple floor exercises like reverse crunches. By getting into a routine exercise regimen you can slowly change your body to look the way you want it to.

In addition to performing specific exercises, you may have to make changes to your diet in order to achieve picture perfect female abs. The wall of the female abdomen is naturally obscured by a layer of fat and it is necessary to get rid of that layer of fat before your female six pack abs will be visible. To do so you may need to greatly reduce your fat intake, cutting out sugars, sweets, fried food, and junk foods from your diet. Before you make any quick and drastic changes in your diet, however, consult your physician so that you can devise a diet plan that will keep you properly nourished. As you enact your diet and workout plan, keep in mind that achieving female six pack abs can take some time, so do not rush yourself or expect immediate results. Strive for quality exercise sessions rather than for achieving a higher number of repetitions. Over time your muscles will become toned and you may find that you have the female abs you have always dreamed of.
