There is something that you can do about it, however. You don't have to spend the rest of your life wishing that you could somehow manage the nerve to approach a hot looking woman. You can BE that guy and not even break a sweat doing it.
Here are some tips on approaching women that should help you combat approach anxiety:
1. Although it might sound corny, take it one step at a time.
When you think about what's going to happen next and after that, it's easy to get your mind all worked up and that is when the fear is really going to start to take over. You have to just relax and put one foot in front of the other, or else, the fear will become too much and it will hold you back. To approach a woman is the first step, but it leads to all of the rest, so you have to make your move.
2. If she is going to say NO, then she is going to say no.
The reason why I put it this way is that this is really the WORST that can happen. Read that line over and over again. The worst a woman will do to you is to say no. Nothing more. So, there really is no reason at all to get worked up and think that somehow you are going to face the worst rejection of your life. Most of the time, a woman will be friendly and kind of beat around the bush without really getting too nasty about it.
3. If you can build a bond and make her respond, then you can get the girl.
Once you have approached her, the whole idea is to build a bond with her and get her to respond to you. You don't have to win her over right away, you just have to get something started and be more than just another guy that is checking her out from across the room. Those guys, they never end up with the girl, so why not be different and make YOUR move on her?
