Bedtime can be a stressful time for many kids and adults alike. Parents often cite the need for calming techniques for their children before bed. But there is an abundance of ways that parents can help kids transition into peaceful sleep each and every night. Most involve spending time with your child and interacting in quiet ways that encouraging bonding and showing love. Just as adults may not be able to drift off to sleep as soon as heads hit the pillow, children also need time to relax before going to sleep. It may not be as easy for kids especially if they have some unresolved issues of the day to deal with. With the fast-paced cycle of School - Homework - Dinner - Bed, children often do not have enough time to really work out everything that has happened during the day. Your child will gain emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills while exploring ethics, emotions and common sense. At the same time, the dreaminess of these old folk tales really calm and soothe, preparing everyone for a restful night.
