Second, you have to practice the correct way of doing the different hitting drills that your coach is teaching you. You should understand that the more time you do those drills incorrectly, the higher chances of having injuries. That is why it is very important to observe your coach closely everytime he will teach you a new drill so that you can do it the right way. If you done the hitting drill correctly, you will see that you will only use less effort that will reduce the risk of being injured.

Next, you should have enough time to rest. Everybody feel tired after long hours of training. Even the best softball player needs to take rest to give his muscle enough time to heal and become ready again for the next activities. You should not train too much too the point that you can no longer move because of too much tiredness. If your coach gives you a break, you should take this time to have some rest.

Then, you should not forget to follow through. Some softball hitter tends to stop the movement of their arm at once after hitting the ball. This should not be practice because this can cause an injury to your arm. You should do your swing naturally and you will see that you will get more satisfying results in the end.

Afterwards, you should not take everything so fast. It is understandable that you want to finish your training at once. Anyway everyone likes it too. But you should take things one after the other. Softball hitting really takes time before you can master the perfect style of hitting the ball. The best way you can do is to spend enough time in your practice and you will only be surprise with the results you will get.

Lastly, you should get a coach who has a proper education in softball hitting. This way, he can show you the right way to do the hitting drill everytime you need to undergo training.
