Once you have done this, you can take a look at the first two letters as these letters will already tell you the manufacturer's name. After this 2 letters, it is then followed by the other numbers that can tell you your scooter's model number and its engine size. That is normally all that is needed so that you can find parts for your moped.
If you cannot find the VIN in this location, you can also lay down on your back and look up from beneath the scooter. There are also other scooters that have the VIN located some place else on its body's frame. Although this is harder to locate, it is still another option.
