The auto service in Malaysia can be categorized in two groups which is the local and Foreign Service centre. Most of the Malaysian prefer go to the service centre that authorized by Toyota, Nissan, Perodua or Proton auto service center. The reason why most of the Malaysian prefers to service their car in authorized service centre due to the best and quality service, genuine spare parts, professionalism and transparent services and well trained mechanics that they can offered if go to the authorized service centre.
There is no wrong if you go to service your car at any of the service centre regardless it is local or Foreign Service centre. The first thing that come to your mind when you compared the differences between the local and Foreign auto service centre is the quality of services, the spare parts and the products used to service your car.
Now let us focus on the service quality that provided by the local and Foreign auto service centre. The service quality determines the satisfaction of the consumers. Most of the consumers found out that they get better services in Foreign Service centre compared with local service centre. The quality of services here means not only well trained mechanics to service your car but they use genuine spare parts to replace the one from your car.
This does not mean the entire local auto service centre does not use genuine spare parts but from the experience that I have is they told you it is new genuine spare parts, but when checked with the authorized auto service centre it's actually cloned spare parts that looks like genuine or maybe a reconditioned spare parts. This really annoying if the spare parts that been used to service your car is used spare part but had been told is a new one. This definitely a bad credibility for the local auto service centres. Most of the feedback from the consumers from their experience with the local auto service centre where some of it is good and some of it will rather go to Foreign Service for the next time.
The good quality of services offered by Foreign Service centre that you can get not only for the car, but to the car owner as well. From the way they serve you once you reach the service centre until the car has been serviced is totally different from local auto service centre. The environment is also one of the factors that differentiate local and Foreign Service centre.
The professionalism and transparent services are provided by the Foreign Service centre. The whole process of servicing the car is transparent and even the equipments and machines that had been used during the servicing process is much better than the local auto service centre. The good thing if you take your car to Foreign Service centre, you hardly can find any defect after your car had been serviced compared with local auto service centre. Even during the time you car is being inspecting by the professional mechanic, they will explain it to you how they going to service your car that you hardly find it from local service centre.
Most of the feedback from most of the car owner is they prefer take their car to foreign auto service centre because of the good credibility and the good quality service. Most of the reason why they prefer Foreign Service centre are the good feedback from their friends and family who had a good experience and satisfied with the service.
