Anemia refers to a less amount of red blood cell count than the normal available quantity of hemoglobin in blood. Red blood cells are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. Anemia types can be categorized with iron deficiency anemia, pernicious anemia, folic acid deficiency anemia, hemolytic anemia etc. But the most common type of anemia is sickle cell anemia which is incapable of carrying oxygen thus depriving the body tissue from being supplied with required nutrition and oxygen. Hemolytic anemia inherited or acquired disease that causes the red blood cells to be deformed or a result of another inherited blood disorder, harmful substances. Iron deficiency anemia is caused by blood loss or lack of iron in the diet. These factors affect the body as they leave the body with insufficient required levels of red blood cells.@A person should choose right medication to treat the disease under medical supervision. Most of the people suffering from anemia have nutrition related anemia, which can be treated with iron or vitamin b12 supplements in the form of injections. If a patient needs high doses of any supplements, at that time a person should take a suggestion from a registered medical practitioner. If patient needs to be hospitalized due to their anemia symptoms, will most likely need intensive treatment such as oxygen or blood transfusions.
