Buy Resveratrol With Peace Of Mind

Author: Andrew Ekman

I am in the grips of wanting to buy resveratrol, but I have questions.

When I was a teenager, I reached the point of existential angst where I actually became impatient with how slowly time was passing. I wanted to grow up! Now, in my mid forties ... well, how ruthless time can be. Couldn't it maybe, slow down a bit?

Like all who reach forty I have confronted with the realities of advancing age. Creaking joints, limited energy, the inexorable accumulation of fat in the least flattering places. But more seriously, I am now acquainted with the dizzy spells and the stabbing pains in my heart that are the calling card of heart disease.Buy Resveratrol With Peace Of Mind

And alas, my memory I was once so proud of, has also begun to fade. No more memorizing phone numbers or holding my daily "to do" list casually in my head. My Father was recently claimed by Alheimer's disease, so here too I have no choice but to ponder what the coming years hold for me.

Facing hard truths of the aging conundrum, when one encounters resveratrol it is like the sea has parted.

This single compound, resveratrol, addresses almost every potential malady that could bring on premature aging in the years I have left. It's almost unbelievable but for the fact there is extensive medical research to prove it's multiple actions on the diseases that typically bring on aging in later years.

For example, resveratrol stimulates the production of more energy in your body's cells, enabling your organs to function at their peak, all the time. It is a powerful anti-oxidant, which makes exercise easier but also keeps free radicals at low levels in your body. This is important to prevent the onset of free radical driven diseases like Alzheimer's disease and some forms of cancer.

The most dramatic effect resveratrol has on your body is through it's activation of the sirtuin gene, which to cut a long story short, puts the body in survival mode. Once in this state, you metabolize glucose at a higher rate, your fat cells stop storing fat and start releasing it for metabolism. If you are diabetic you notice your blood sugar going down. Cancer cells stop proliferating, mental alertness increases. It's truly remarkable, and all this happens from ingesting this simple compound, resveratrol.

So, for a middle aged father like me, one who got started late and will be approaching seventy at the time the last of my children finishes school, resveratrol, and everything it offers for my health and my ability to still be there for my kids when they are coming of age, is an opportunity just too good to pass up.

The only question is, which resveratrol should I buy?

My first experiences with resveratrol where less than reassuring. Being a cheapskate I went straight for the cheapest bottle I could find on a big vitamin website. I was thrilled when it arrived, thinking, "Yes! I can persuade Father time to give me another twenty years for a mere $9.95 a month." Well ... hehe, the pills gave me a headache.

Lord knows what was in them. I tossed them out.

I thought I would look for something a little higher quality, realizing I might have to pay more. but hey, that's fine as long as I'm getting real resveratrol that gives me the benefits I've read about. No problem. I realize there are no shortcuts, you have to pay for quality.

I came across a resveratrol product that was being heavily promoted. It was literally everywhere. Oprah and Dr. Oz were all over the website. I thought, well I like Oprah, I trust Dr Oz, I'll give it a shot. Plus, they were offering a free trial so it was a no brainer to order.

A couple of surprises. The product arrived in two days so no problem there. But after taking the resveratrol capsules twice a day (as instructed) for ten days I wasn't noticing much change. I noticed a little bit of an antioxidant effect when I went for a run, but not much. I didn't notice any change in my appetite, my weight. Also, the ingredients of this supposedly "resveratrol" product included chromium, green tea extract, boswelia, guarana, and some scary sounding acids. I wanted to buy resveratrol, not all this other stuff. Funnily, resveratrol was in the smallest amount of all the ingredients.

I wanted to ask the company if they had a product that contained only resveratrol and had the resveratrol in a higher concentration so I could receive the benefits I had read about. I called the customer service number on the bottle and got an answering machine, so I left a message. After three days I hadn't received a call back. The end of the trial period was two days away so, in light of my experience to this point I thought I would cancel. I called them up again, got their answering machine again and left a message with my purchase info telling them I wanted to cancel. After doing this I checked my credit card account and (to my disappointment) noticed, even though the trial period hadn't ended, I had already been billed $87.13. Oh Dear.

I should have ended it there but decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt. I waited for them to get back to me. After a week I called again to follow up on my cancel request, and again, left a message. No response. On day twenty-five after ordering I noticed another charge for $87.13 appear on my credit card. OK, this is ridiculous. I called my credit card company and got them to cancel the charges for me and get my money back.

Good Lord! My experience with this company was so stressful. I just wanted to buy resveratrol without any other ingredients, and in high enough quantities to make a difference. The company didn't mention their ingredients up front, nor did they want to talk to me after I became their customer.

Lesson learned.

Even though this simple purchase was turning into my personal quest for a bottle of resveratrol, at least now I knew what I was looking for. Single ingredient resveratrol capsules with a good concentration of resveratrol in each capsule. I eventually found a company that offered this, and although they offered a "risk-free" trial (which made me a little suspicious) I had no trouble contacting them on the phone to talk. The single ingredient in the product was Polygonum cuspidatum extract, which I had researched is the most concentrated form of resveratrol available.

Most importantly, within days of first taking this resveratrol product I began to feel significant changes in my body. My mind began to feel strong again, especially my ability to focus. My appetite, just, went awol. No more snacking and then gorging myself at mealtimes. I simply don't feel hungry all the time anymore ... sometimes I forget to eat. My 6 year old son confirmed for me yesterday, "Daddy you are not so fat!" And when I go for a run in the evenings I feel as though I am being swept along by a strong tailing breeze.

I feel secure in the knowledge I am doing everything I can to healthy and be here for my children as they grow up and make their way through school and college. As it happens I notice I am not the only forty something father dropping his toddler off at daycare. There are more of us than I realized.

And there lies the challenge; to be vital, active and full of life when year seventy rolls around.

A few years ago that would have sounded preposterous. But with the ever expanding understanding of nutrition, anti-aging, and amazing supplements like resveratrol it is becoming well within the grasp of reality.

And so Dear Reader, in "your" quest to buy resveratrol with peace of mind, take my experiences for your own. Look for a company that offers high quality resveratrol supplements, and appreciates you and the business you give them.About the Author:
