An Introduction To Online Surveys For Cash

Over the last couple of years, paid surveys really seem to have taken the internet by storm as various services pop up here and there offering incentives in return for the completion of what is commonly known as a 'survey form'.

So, you could just answer a few questions, submit them, and make some extra money.

Upon hearing paid surveys described in this fashion, many skeptics automatically begin to think that it is some kind of scam. After all, why would anyone want to pay others for something as simple as spending a couple of minutes to answer a few questions?

Paid surveys do seem a little bit shady when put in a certain light. The fact of the matter, however, is that marketers understand the motivation behind these surveys slightly more. Marketers, in fact, could describe it with two simple words: market research.

What it comes down to is that paid surveys are nothing more than simple, good old market research. Any company that is offering a service or a product needs to have some kind of market research. A company needs to know as much as possible about the market that they are attempting to sell to.

Because of this companies are more than happy to pay for such information. It could be anything from a teenage girl's preference in lipstick to how much a parent is willing to pay for toys they give their children.

There are many aspects to market research that companies need information about. It is what they base almost every decision on. Would it make sense to dump millions of dollars into the production of a new product only to discover that the market you thought you were targeting is not interested in it?

See, it doesn't sound so unreasonable now that people are willing to pay for such research, does it?

Paid surveys appear that they are not going anywhere. Judging from the sheer number of these sites, they seem to be getting stronger.

However, you should take note that not every paid survey site pays cash. There are paid surveys that pay with incentives such as discounts or prizes as opposed to cash.

Still, if you are willing to take the time to fill out a few surveys each day you can make some extra cash and getting a few goodies in the form of prizes as well just makes the deal even better.

No one knows for sure what the future holds for the paid survey industry, but the market is becoming increasingly competitive as their continues to be businesses that are willing to pay for market research.
