China is rich in offshore wind resources, by far, Development and Reform Commission of China has taken Donghai Bridge offshore wind power project as a pilot operation and get some successful experience. Though there are many technical difficulty to develop offshore wind energy, we still believe China will make a great progress in offshore wind energy projects in the future as the onshore wind energy. We estimate China Offshore Energy Development Planning programme will be launched before the end of the year, which will greatly support the development of China offshore wind energy in the policy.
