What to expect when potty training your child

Bedwetting, or enuresis as it's also known, can be a nuisance. If you feel you're getting nowhere, talk to your GP about your options. There are lots of things they will be able to suggest to help the potty training process. For example, bedwetting alarms, which sound when they detect wetness, can significantly improve your child's chance of success. There are also drug treatments available for persistent problems. Enuresis is a problem which most people grow out of, so it's not necessary to worry. Be aware, though, that a child who has been dry for some time and starts wetting the bed could well be upset about something.
