Each link year, we try and hold a Baselworld link preview with Rolex, Tudor, and Patek Philippe. For many of our clients, it may be the only time they can see some of these link pieces in person. Being a fourth-generation jeweler, we have watch collectors that span those generations and are always eager to see what is new.
I am a self-proclaimed Serpenti obsessive, and my Bulgari allegiance is unwavering. But I can't help being charmed by this Chopard gem-set snake watch. Snakes have been used as a motif across high jewelry brands from David Webb to Cartier. I suspect they succeed link because they are explicitly feminine without being link dainty. They are link sensual and powerful, not girly.
