Holidays In Prague

Prague is one of Europe's most beautiful cities with its diverse mix of Gothic and Baroque buildings decorating its streets.

Many tourists flock to Prague to experience the city's feel for themselves. Couples are seduced by the elegance and romantic atmosphere the Old Town can offer, not to mention the host of sightseeing that awaits them. As a result of this, Prague has quickly become one of the world's favourite destinations for city weekend breaks.

As well as being a very popular tourist spot for holidays, Prague has impressed some so much that they have decided to settle in the city. Creating a large non-Czech community, mainly with people from the US, has meant that Prague has gained new cultural diversity as a result of it giving so much to its visitors.

Subsequently to this, Prague is still a vibrant and modern city that has a very popular social scene but still maintains its important and traditional history of culture. As a result of this diversity, Prague has a lot to offer its visitors whether they are visiting on their holidays or planning to stay for good.

However, no break is complete without a shopping trip. Prague isn't known for its shopping like New York, Paris and London are but there is still plenty of fantastic shopping to be done in the city. Prague shopping is a mix of well-known Western stores, local shops, specialist stores and of course, souvenir shops.

Typical Czech products for sale include; handmade crafts such as; puppets and wooden toys, folk art, crystal, hand painted eggs and some memorabilia from the Communist era including; knives and badges.

It is well-worth looking out for cheap holidays to Prague and then any left over money can be saved for the shopping experience that awaits you in this very diverse city.
