The Buyers Children

People underestimate the power of their customers children effects what the parents will end up buying. If you are selling a car and your buyer brings their children along it can actually be a blessing in disguise so dont get disheartened. If the children like the car then they will pressure their parents into buying the car. There is a downside however. Children can be very hands on with things. If you have got the car ready for multiple buyers to inspect and the children start touching the glass and leaving hand prints on the body work then you might have to clean it before the next buyer comes. This might be a small price to pay however.

Every cloud has a silver lining when selling a car. While it may encourage the buyer to buy the vehicle, you may be required to perform a little extra cleaning if the buyer doesnt want it. Keep this in mind and keep an eye on the buyers children. The parents of the children will probably ensure that they are well behaved but it is worth keeping an eye out anyway. Selling a car can be stressful enough without worrying about mischievous young hands. Just relax and realise that the children may become part of the decision making unit that ensures your car sells. Dont lose your cool. If you are rude to the buyers children you might have snapped yourself out of a sale.

It is not worth risking a sale if the buyer brings their children along. Be courteous. Offer everyone a drink. Allow your children to mingle with the buyers children. It will make the whole thing go a lot smoother and you have the advantage of having some little helpers that may make the decision for the buyer. Dont freak out if you see children in the car when the buyer pulls up. Get excited. Children are more emotionally intelligent than people give them credit for. They are easily excited. If they are happy you will probably find that the buyer will be happy. Happiness is a powerful selling tool. Remember if you are selling a car and the buyer brings children along to make sure the children come along for the test drive. This might be the deciding factor.
