Going To Orlando Without The Kids

Everyone knows that Orlando is the ultimate family vacation destination. Home to the largest and world-famous theme parks like Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World, Orlando has a lot of things in store for the whole family especially the children. But do you know what? Orlando is not only for kids. It is also a great travel getaway for adults who are looking for a fun and worthwhile vacation without the kids. Here are some vacation ideas for adults going to Orlando just by themselves.

1. Richard Petty Driving Experience

Do you know that in Disney World, there is actually an attraction that is absolutely kid free? Its called the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which requires all the participants to be at least 18 years of age and to have a valid drivers license. In this attraction, you get to experience the speed of a lifetime behind the wheel of a NASCAR-type car, which you can take around the track for speedy laps that will get your adrenaline rushing.

2. City Arts Factory

For those of you looking for something artsy fartsy, youll want to visit the City Arts Factory, a space that exudes visual and performing arts. Be sure to drop by all the five art galleries found in this place as well as the artists studio and events and performance area.

3. Victoria & Alberts

Believe it or not, there is a dining place in Disney World that does not offer a childrens menu. It comes in the name of Victoria & Alberts, one of Disneys high-end restaurants. It does not allow entry of children under 10 and if youre a kid and you come in here, you have to act like an adult. In fact, the dress code here, even for children is formal. Dinner jacket for men and boys and formal dress or suits for women and girls.

4. Leu Gardens

Going on a picnic date in the most beautiful botanical garden in Orlando will certainly take your vacation a notch higher. Not only that, you can also watch a movie or listen to live jazz music since the Leu Gardens hosts movie nights, and jazz concerts during certain nights of the week. Dont forget to bring a mat, some candles, and a picnic basket filled with goodies.

5. Winter Park

Another romantic place where you can go to is the Winter Park. After taking a leisure stroll in this stunning park, you can visit the Farmers Market and then walk along Park Avenue and drop by the Wine Room. There is also that nice Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of Art, which serves as a home to the art class collection of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

You love your kids so much but there are times when you want to spend time alone with your better half. Theres nothing wrong with that. Spend a nice and wonderful vacation at Orlando. Just be sure to available Orlando Vacation Packages and Orlando Hotel Packages to make planning a cinch.
