Using A Chartered Eurocopter To Go Right To Your Destination

Using jets is a good thing but they have a commonality in that none of those transport options can pick up or drop off at any other location than an airport. Using a helicopter frees you from these limits, they can go almost anywhere, wherever there is a helipad. These are often on the tops of tall buildings in a metropolis or just anywhere that there is a small piece of land that is open and level.

In both the performance and technology areas the Eurocopter is a leader both in the militar and civilian helicopter business. This product results from the merger of Messerschmitt-Blkow-Blohm of Daimler-Benz helicopter division and the same division of Arospatiale-Matra, there is lots of history her tracing back to past the second world war. This EC 145 model that is known as the Eurocopter is a twin engine, civilian/light duty machine with twin Turbomeca Arriel 1E2 turboshaft engines, both creating 550 kilowatts/758 shaft horsepower. With the four blades on top there is a ton of power, it can land safely if one of the engines goes out.

The chopper has a useful load of 1,793 kilos or 3,953 pounds. Its cruise speed of 246 kilometers per hour (133 knots, 153 mph) would be respectable in a military machine! In fact, In 2006, the "UH-145", a militarized version of the EC 145, was chosen by the United States Army for its Light Utility Helicopter Program, beating choppers from three other well known manufacturers. The chopper has a service ceiling of 5,240 meters, over 17,000 feet, a climb rate of 8.1 meters per sec or 1600 feet per minute, and a range of 680 kilometers/426 miles. Useful load has been increased on this helicopter by use of the latest materials available, the rotors are composed of ultra strong composites while the rotor hub is made of titanium.

The Eurocopter EC 145 features a larger cabin than its predecessors and can carry two crew members and eight passengers in roomy club-style seating, or eight passengers in the slightly tighter economy seating configuration. The cockpit is an ultra-modern all-glass number, equipped with a Thales Avionics MEGHAS Flight Control Display System and active matrix liquid crystal displays.

The Eurocopter provides the very best way to come and go to all the business meetings, but it can be a little costly. Generally the hourly rate will be around $3000 in American dollars.
