Deep Fitted Sheets Online

Deep fitted sheets are available on line in any style, size, material, colour and price range you could ask for. You can shop according to what is most important to you such as the thread count, country of origin, pattern or fibre content. There are several options when considering new sheets.

You can find deep fitted sheets anywhere online with the right search engine. Be sure to measure your mattress so you can choose the depth that you need it to fit. With pillow topped mattresses, it adds extra depth needed for sheets. Sheets may need to be washed in cold water, delicate cycle and low temperature drying, so they do not shrink and they last longer.

Buying deep fitted sheets is usually a very easy task, but do not just look for coloured sheets or printed ones. The thread count, weave and fabric are important to look at in choosing the right sheets. Thread count is the total threads horizontally and vertically in a square inch of the fabric. The tighter and stronger the weave usually indicates a nicer material to the touch, with added durability.

A thread count of 200 or more makes for nice strong sheets that will last and are yet still very affordable. When 300 to 400, they are a little softer and still quite affordable for most buyers. When you get up to 500 and above threads per inch, they do cost more but the softness is there, if that is what you are looking for. Thread counts of 1000 or more usually are very soft but the treads are thinner so the sheets are not always as durable as lesser counts. Keep that in mind when deciding what you want.

The texture of the fabric is created by the weave that is used. This affects the look and feel of the fabric. Some of the bed sheets are commonly made with combed cotton, Egyptian cotton, flannel, Italian linen, muslin, percale, pima cotton, sateen, satin or silk, to name a few.

Most sheet sets come with a top flat sheet and fitted bottom sheet, and one or two pillow cases. The single sheets usually come with only one pillow case. The sheets are also sold separately. They come in sizes from cot sheets to super king size sheets, which are the biggest.

Caring for your deep fitted sheets is a very important thing to know. Follow manufacturers guide lines along with keeping the wash cycle short, keep sheets packed in the washer loosely, to prevent friction while washing, will help the sheets from piling. If you want to use more than one set at a time, after washing and folding them, you can put them into one of the pillow cases for storage. This is a nice and neat way to store them.

Deep fitted sheets are very nice to have on the new mattresses with pillowed top. There are a lot of options to choose from that you can find online. Many quality shops have web sites to shop on, and most are happy to answer your queries by phone or by email.
