I had the idea of doing a series of articles about the ways I have tried to make money on the Internet over the past month or so.
Some of these ways have worked, some havent and some are works in progress.
The first thing I ever made money on online, this is so long ago I cant remember the specifics, was a book being sold on ebay.
I went through a phase of reading lots of self-help books about achieving things in life. I put it on there and it happened to be a pretty popular book at the time by a respected authority in the field, so he had lots of money anyway.
I remember some of the books I sold being Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, which incidentally I wouldnt mind now reading again! There was a Paul McKenna book called Change Your Life in Seven Days. At the time I read the books and didnt really take action on what was being said, it all seemed a bit cheesy to me, live the life you want, make more money easily and fast.
So that was my first foray into trying to make money online. Well, tell a lie, that was my first making money online because I wanted to get rid of the books. Now its the other way round, I want to make money online and replace my income I have at the moment.
