Important Things To Note On Your Israel Tour

A lot of people, Christians and non-Christians alike, dream of setting foot in the Holy Land of Israel. No matter what religion you belong in, this place is at the top of the tourist spots because it is not only religious, it is historic as well. Churches and holy places are not the only attractions but also the natural beauty of it.

If you are visiting Israel through a travel agency, then you are in good hands. They have the experience already in handling such tours so you will not surely miss out on the prime areas to visit. If you are a backpacker, better do proper research before boarding the plane to Israel. Know the must-visit places, accommodations units and the cuisines so you are prepared by the time you land.

If you have read the Bible, or at least some party of it, you know by now that the cities of Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Jerico should be on your list. There are a lot of history in these cities you do not want to miss. Specific sites you should go to are the Garden Tomb, Temple Mount of Jerusalem, Western Wall, Church of Holy Sepulcher, Shepherds Field and the Church of the Nativity.

If you want to have a sneak at the Dead Sea Scrolls, you should come over at the Shrine of the Book. Another must-see site is the place where the water was parted by Moses, which is the Red Sea. Other places you should include in your Christian Holy Land tour are Mt. Olives, Tel Aviv Jaffa, Mount Hermon, Masada and the Judean Desert.

There are a lot of travel agencies all over the world offering Christian Holy Land tours. Some tours are more specific to the interest of some while others are rather generic. Some specific tours you might be interested in are desert tours, Israel Jewish tours, bible study tours and professional tours.

Most of the Christian Holy Land tours last for 8 to 12 days. It is simply impossible to roam around Israel and stay just for the weekends. The best thing to do is to plan for a long leave at the office or from your business and contact a travel agent near you.
