Private Jet Charter Vs Commercial Travel

When booking a flight, most people tend to surf internet, visit one of the many sales aggregator sites such as Expedia, Travelocity or Orbits, and try to find the cheapest way to get from point A to B. This is an understandably popular way to book tickets for the traveler on a budget, but with cheap tickets comes cheap service. Everything from the sluggish and unfriendly commercial airport experience, to the extra money it takes to check bags shows that these major corporations would rather turn an extra dollar then make the flying portion of the travel experience more enjoyable. These many issues are why more people then ever are choosing to fly private aircraft when they decide to travel.

When you charter a private jet, you are creating a trip that revolves around you. At no point is the aircraft going to leave you sitting in the terminal if you are an arbitrary amount of time late. And speaking of terminals, when you travel on a private aircraft, you can skip the cheap fast food, loud and obnoxious crowds, and health risks that tend to be associated with public airports. By chartering a jet, you can arrive at your convenience, board the aircraft, and depart, it is that simple.

Once aboard a commercial flight, the first thing that most people think is "How long am I going to be stuck up here?". The opposite is true with private aircraft travel. With personal, comfortable seats, a plethora of first class food and beverage, and a dedicated staff, the last thing you will want is for the flight to end. In fact, it wouldn't be of much surprise if the flight is the most enjoyable, relaxing part of any trip.

Although there is a great divide in terms of service, luxury and enjoyability between commercial and private travel, the price has become considerably less so. With skyrocketing fuel costs, federal regulations, and increased overhead, the price of commercial travel continues to increase exponentially. In many cases, the cost associated of flying a group or family across country commercial is on par with the price that would be associated with chartering a private jet.

If you plan on taking a trip in the near future, consider the private aircraft alternative to travel. It will increase your enjoyment, and could save you both stress and money.
