Cruise And Stay Holidays : Enjoy The Sea And The Land

A cruise is a fantastic holiday and the thought of seeing dream destinations appear from over the horizon would make anyone forget about their worries back home. Many travellers invest lots of time, effort and money to ensure their dream holiday goes without a hitch and that they experience all that their cruise has to offer.

For most, choosing a Caribbean cruise means flying to the United States, (often into Florida), and then boarding their cruise liner. A wonderful cruise holiday can then be enjoyed and you can fly back out the same day the cruise ship gets back to port.

While a cruise offers relaxation and adventure and entertainment all at the same time, very often cruise passengers long for a few days to enjoy the port location before boarding the ship. For someone flying into Miami to join a ship it's a great chance to see the area, as Miami is a fantastic tourist destination.

For Europeans planning a cruise holiday in the Caribbean or in other far-off places, they can now arrange to spend a few days off the ship before they begin the cruise. The desire to experience both a cruise and to explore the area surrounding the port is what cruise and stay holidays are all about.

While a travel agent was always free to arrange this, the cruise lines now arrange it all for you; often at a great price. In many cases, the holiday price includes the flight, hotel stay, and cruise all rolled into one. It's a great deal and a great way to get two holidays in one. The fact is that most cruises depart from interesting port cities. Cruise-and-stay holidays connect the actual cruise itinerary with a few days stay in the port city for the holidaymaker to experience what the area has to offer.
