Reasons you need house insurance

There are a lot reasons why you should have house insurance. Just think about it. If your house burned down today, would you be able to replace your material items? What if a tornado came through today? Do you have the money to replace your house and all of your items? This is just a couple of examples of things that can happen. Everybody says that it's not going to happen to me. You can't control the weather. Accidents happen.

It doesn't matter who you are or how careful you are. People get tired. What if you bump a candle and knock it off the coffee table and it catches the carpet on fire? House fires aren't always because of the homeowner's carelessness. There could be faulty wiring in a brand new house and you won't know it because the wiring is in the walls. You can't see it. It doesn't just cover fires, floods, tornadoes or hurricanes. It will cover the damages if you go on vacation and a water pipe breaks and floods your house. It will cover that as long as you have it.

It also covers if someone gets hurt on your property or a dog bites someone that is on your property. It protects you from having to spend a lot of money out of your pocket. It can seem costly when you pay your bill every month or every year, depending on how you pay it. But how much would you be spending if you didn't have it? Keep this in mind next time you say you don't need house insurance.
