The Guel Park is one of Gaudis unfinished art pieces, though regardless of this, it was still chosen by UNESCO in 1984 as being part of its patrimony. Gaudi worked here between 1900 and 1914 and from 1906 till his passing away; he lived in the house built by Berenguer, one of the collaborators of his project.
One of the most ambitious urban plans in Barcelona at the end of the XIX century was the idea of Eusebi Gell. He wanted to build an urban area inspired by the English concept of a town-garden.
