Cpa Companies To Benefit From The Decrease In Number Of People Clicking On Ppc Ads

The most hyped result of tracking internet users clicking behaviour has been released by ComScore. The number of people who click on ads have reduced drastically and what's more 8% of those account for 85% of the click. So, if you are using PPC advertisement on your blog then you might have noticed a drop in the click-through-rate of your ads. This occurs because of ad blindness. People have got used to the "ads by google" block that their eyes automatically seems to skip them. I personally fail to even notice flash ads on websites I visit daily unless of course they are intrusive like the ads which will overlay your webpage and won't go until you click the tiny close icon on top corner of the ad. People have started to even block these ads using various ad blocking scripts.

However, people continue to click on contextual ads(read google) when the ad blocks are placed at good places on the website.

Does this mean that publisher revenue will reduce? Not significantly, if you have a good website with good traffic. Unless the publisher network implements smart pricing, you will get good value for click because of simple theory of economics. As the number of people clicking on ads reduces the advertisers will have to shell out big bucks to get those clicks.

CPA companies will greatly profit because of these. Most publishers would be forced to ditch CPC and embrace CPA. Promote products through innovative ways, do competitions on their sites, charge for writing content (PPP), etc. Just look at the number of CPA companies that have cropped up. Clickbank proudly flaunts the amount it has payed on its homepage. Then there are many companies which selects affiliates after pre screening them and trust me, getting into their network is extremely difficult for newbies. Many new networks have cropped up who are not fussy about Publishers website or anything else. They also allow you to promote their products via Twitter and Facebook.
