subject: Did The Bankers Invest Unwisely ? [print this page]

The year 2010 seems to have arrived so fast. The later part of the noughties, as I do believe that they have been referred to as, just seemed to become the years when many people were discussing bankers and their stock exchange trading antics. Governments worldwide perpetually appeared to be bailing out the banks by way of injecting tremendous sums of money in them.

However through the first years in the 21st century and also for a while previous to that, they merely appeared to be raking in the profits. It astounds me how short a time it needed for massive profits to turn around into enormous deficits.

How were they earning so much money?

Really, to be honest, they were gambling with our cash that we had entrusted them with, technically it had been called stock market trading of course. We did not sign any bit of paper to allow them permission to do that, or probably it had been in the small print someplace.

These people employed massive teams of economic whizz kids operating in the London Stock Exchange, Wall Street and various stock markets trading stocks and shares, metals, futures, options, currencies and whatever else they thought might generate them some money.

For countless years it did precisely that and also the actual dealers were given tidy bonuses. It usually struck me however that wherever someone made a profit, someone other than them was making a loss.

The time is right to get a little of our capital back.

During the past, prior to computers being the force that they are today, you would have had to discuss with your stockbroker so as to deal in the markets. For stock trading nowadays, through these times of technological brilliance, every one of us, seated on our personal computer screens, can perform automated online stock market trading similar to those stockbrokers and traders were doing.

A little caution here however, it will not be as simple as that appears. Even though it is rather convenient that you can get on your computer, log in to your bank's internet site then get a few shares and stocks, it is usually better to have a bit of insider information on the way everything functions prior to your beginning to attempt investing.

You can find quite a lot of stock trading courses which any of us can tap into and discover the secrets the bankers would not be happy if we knew.
