There are literally hundreds of things you can do and most of these will be excellent small businesses or home businesses which will solve the problems listed above. We have written several articles about this topic but it is so important that we will continue to pound away.
There are franchises to look into if you have capital. No money saved up? Then look into the trades and services area. Find a talent you have that will provide a saleable service and get to work.
Are you a good trader? Find a product line and buy and sell either from home or via EBay.
Can you teach something, check out local trade colleges or tech schools. You do not have to have a teaching degree to teach at most of those institutions.
Whatever it is start now. But how?
I knew you were going to ask that question and I was ready. There are a series of logical steps you need to take in order to start any new business. The first one is not spending money on a high priced attorney or accountant. They will only be able to help you, if at all, once you are ready to actually start the business. No you need several other things first.
You need to sketch out a plan. Do some research and do some detailed roadmapping. This is called doing a business plan which most people think is too hard and fluff. It is not at all and usually without one you are doomed to failure.
Then you need to do your due diligence and cover all of your bases so that if there is a problem you catch it prior to spending a lot of money and then discovering the problem.
