Travel Challenge: The Chic Late Summer Getaway [Holiday Secrets]

We've got a budget of 100o for a September Mediterranean break. We'd like to stay in a contemporary, boutique-style hotel but we realise our price range is limiting. We've been to Turkey, the Greek Islands, Cyprus and the Balearics before and want to try somewhere new. We love nightlife, but don't want to find ourselves in the middle of an 18-30s-style resort. Pack a camera and look out for the brightly-coloured local fishing boats, known as luzzu. The bus service in Malt is reliable and regular, making getting around the island easy and cheap. There are an abundance of historical sites to explore if that's your kind of thing, or simply rlax and soak up the laid-back atmosphere in St Julian's Bay.

The hotel we've found for you ticks all of your boxes: It's...
