Among the old mosques worth visiting in Iran is the Nasir Ol Molk Mosque in Shiraz. While there are many beautiful and breath taking monuments in the country, yet this particular mosque in Shiraz has its own importance. It is situated in Goade-e-Araban place, very near to the Shah Cheragh mausoleum. It was built in honor of Mirza Hasan Ali Nasir ol Molk, who was like a lord in the Qajar dynasty. The mosque was started in 1876 and completed in 1888. If you go down Lotfali Khan-e-Zand street, you cannot miss seeing the mosque.
