Turkey - A Paradise

For nearly 50 years one part of Turkey has been drawing holiday makers from across Europe. Bodrum is considered by many who live in Turkey to be its diamond and on arrival you can soon see why.

As you approach this coastal town the first thing to greet you will be the small white washed houses. The way in which it is laid out helps to create a more romantic feeling to the place and is something that wouldn't look out of place in any film. Yet although everything does appear to be small and close to one another the peninsula on which Bodrum stands is very big. In fact it will take just over a couple of hours for you to drive from one of this resort to the other.

When it comes to sightseeing you will discover that unlike some other places in Turkey, Bodrum has been spoilt. Unfortunately to see some of this country's truly magnificent pieces of history and its culture requires you to travel some distance. So make sure that if you intend to stay in this resort you arrange car hire. Then you can head off to places like Ephesus for the day and learn more about what life was like many centuries ago.

Although the major attractions are some distance away from Bodrum there are plenty of activities to enjoy around Bodrum. If you want a little more excitement in your holiday rather than spending most of your time on the beach. Then why not arrange to do a scuba diving course or let someone else do the driving and take a Jeep Safari. This will then allow you to explore more the Turkish landscape and countryside. Also why not spend some time relaxing in the Turkish Baths.

But whatever you choose to do when you come to Bodrum in Turkey you are ensure to have a holiday that will have you returning to this wonderful resort time and time again.
