Portugal Trips For Coaching Misfits

Former cocaine and steroid monger Deigo Maradona has himself left his post as an international manager after having a good start but poor finish to Argentina's World Cup 2010. With the Portuguese parting company with Carlos Queiroz it seems that the man who seems only good as Sir Alex's no. 2 is out of another job. After Queiroz left the current Manchester United managers side to peruse a dream and manage Real Madrid that also ended in failure as he was relieved of his duties after one season, finishing 3rd. Despite becoming jobless I'm sure the manager will hang around his beautiful homeland before returning to football management too soon.

Another one looking at the fantastic setting of Portugal and thinks he can make it work is football oddity Deigo Maradona. The Houdini of cheats reckons he's ready for his next challenge and still thinks that he can crack it on the international scene, one can only wish him the success of a Danny Dyer film. I think there are plenty more managers out there who warrant the role of Portugal's manager and the ability to travel the picturesque country visiting its many historic cities and sunny coasts. Whoever gets it will be blessed with the chance of travelling a stunning country along with overseeing some world class players, though it seems they have the same luck as England when it comes to wining something on the biggest stage of them all.

Watching games in the capital must be a joy for any manager, but your job making you travel Portugal to experience the natural beauty which blesses every corner of the country must be an absolute delight. If I were international manager I would certainly make a case for games to be held on the Portuguese islands such as Madeira. I would go scouting for players in the most remote quaint seaside villages which coincidently have sublime views out across the Atlantic Ocean and have a busy and bustling nightlife to enjoy. Maybe's the role of manager requires a certain amount of restraint where the public activity is concerned, if so perhaps it's not for me. In this case I will just stick to been a fun loving holidaymaker.

Whether you are a budding football manager or just a typical sun seeker, then I'm more than positive that Portugal has more than enough to lure you over. From shores to the cities Portugal has more than enough to entice you over.
