Should you make a personal injury claim?

Personal injury claims now gain wider exposure than ever before, yet many people are still unaware of when they may have a rightful claim for compensation. Every year thousands of people suffer at the hands of medical negligence, defective products, road traffic incidents and accidents at work.

You could be entitled to a pay-out to compensate you for your suffering if the accident was not your fault. But it can be difficult to know when you are entitled to make an injury claim and when you're not.

Here are just some of the circumstances when it might be possible to claim for compensation...

Have you been injured in an accident at work, such as a trip or fall?

Are you suffering from an asbestos-related illness, such as mesothelioma, asbestosis or pleural thickening?

Have you suffered an injury as a result of an accident on holiday abroad or while travelling to your destination?

Have you or a loved one been injured by faulty goods or appliances, such as toys or hair straighteners?

Are you the victim of a crime and suffered physical or psychological problems as a result?

Have you recently had an amputation?

Have you been injured in a road traffic accident, either as a passenger, driver or pedestrian?

Have you undergone an operation that had complications, leaving you in a worse condition?

Has a crack in the pavement, wet surface in a shop or any other hazard in a public place caused you an injury?

These are all common scenarios that have led to personal injury claims and compensation for the victims.
