2. Rewrite a cover letter.
Are you sending a cover letter with your resumes yet ? If you are not : big mistake and this is the first thing you should work on, even before thinking of rewriting your resume. If you are : congratulations. This is something you have to do if you really want the job : again, send a cover letter along with your resume. You should always send a cover letter when trying to get a job.
But remember - your cover letter is not another resume. It is an opportunity to express yourself - to talk about what you, most of us do that very naturally all the time - and to show your employer a little bit more and a little bit of proof about your writing skills and your capacity to promote yourself. 3. Work on your appearance and self-insurance. Now. Not only when you get an interview.
