Learn Ninjutsu - The Ninja's Secret Technique Of Knocking Your Attacker Down With Only One Finger!

There are myths and supposed magical powers attributed to ancient martial arts masters. If you're looking to learn ninjutsu - the art of Japan's Ninja Warriors of the Night, there are even more!

This article takes a look at one of these secrets - the ability to knock your opponent down with just one finger! Not a myth, but a very important concept laid out in the scrolls of the Koto-Ryu, one of the 9 schools that make up the Ninja training for today's students within the Bujinkan Dojo.

If you'd like to learn how to master this powerful secret self defense technique from the martial art of the Ninja... read on!

But, before I explain how this secret ninjutsu technique works, and how to go about training to master it, it's important for me to tell you that this is not an easy thing to learn. How could it be? What kind of a secret would stay a secret for very long, if it were easy, obvious, or something that everyone could figure out in a class or two?

So, that being said, know that even though I am going to give you the secret of this technique, and even tell you how to go about training to make it work for you...

It is going to take you hours upon hours of training, and the development of a very high level of intuitive insight, to be able to take this information from the realm of knowledge, and make it something that your body can act out without the benefit of your mind's conscious level control. In other words, it's going to take a lot of training on your part before your body can do what your mind may understand after reading this!

I know how disappointing that can be. Especially in light of all of the ya-hoos out there offering books, videos, and magic self defense techniques that supposedly turn you into a martial arts and self defense master - a real killing machine - in 30 seconds or less!

What a crock!

Anyway, as controversial as this technique may be, it has a history that reaches back for over 17 centuries of Japanese history, and farther still into the ancient history of China. This high-level strategy has been used by the warriors of the Koto School for hundreds of years to protect themselves and others.

So, exactly how do you go about knocking an attacker - a fully-grown human being - down with only one finger?

Do you develop "fingers of steel?" Sounds like something from the cheesy "Saturday Kung-fu Theater" movies that I grew up with!

No.

Does it require that you develop the upper body mass and strength of a champion body-builder? No. Not that either.

In fact, you can actually be half the size of your attacker, and still be able to do this technique. But, how do you apply a technique like this - a self defense technique that already sounds unbelievable - against an assailant who is bigger, stronger, faster, and even more skilled than you are?

Actually, the answer is much more simple, and realistic, than that. But, it doesn't make it any easier to do.

The secret to knocking down your opponent with one finger in the heat and chaos of a real-world, self defense situation, is in your positioning. What I mean is that, it is tied to, and completely reliant on your body position - on the alignment of your power and strength lines, to his balance line - and your ability to use the perfect timing necessary to do the most good.

Sounds simple, I know.

And, it is once you learn it.

But, developing this powerful skill is going to require certain types of training drills. These drills are designed to develop very high levels of skill in such areas as:

* Timing - You must be able to be where you need to be - with your strikes, and with your body as a whole - precisely when you need to be there.

* Strategic Insight - You must understand the "karmic flow" of a technique - understand where he will be when he gets where he is going - so that you can meet him there, instead of trying to follow along with his individual movements.

* Stability & Balance - You must use solid, stable kamae (posturing) and proper body alignment and positioning that will make you the more stable and strong between the two of you. You must position yourself relative to his body so that your own body is in its strongest position, while his is in its weakest.

* Adaptability - You must have the ability to adapt and respond to whatever he is doing. That means that you cannot be "married" to style, your favorite technique, or some "official" kata. In a full-fledged, all out attack, your self defense technique MUST be based on the deep level understanding that you must have the ability to treat an attack like dancing - to allow your assailant to lead so that he can show you exactly how to beat him.

The key to mastering this powerful martial arts technique, is to have the knowledge, skill, and insight that will allow you to...

Make him an accomplice to his own ass-kicking! And, when you can do that, regardless of whether or not you actually use one finger, you will understand what it means to live and act as a true Master!
