Fortunately, rapids and calm and easy parts are alternated, so the group gets the chance to rest a little from time to time. During the quiet moments, the guide tells stories and anecdotes about Mendoza's people and their culture, as well as the origin of the names of many of the rivers and hills they see during the excursion. After stopping for lunch, the second part is even more exciting and thrilling, due to the waterfalls, some complicated rapids and massive rocks that show up in the way. The adventure continues with waves and shakes and lots of amusement for the raft occupants, until the river gets wider and the waters get more and more calm. That indicates the end of rafting day.
