6 Ways To Sneak Into A Bar or Nightclub by:Nastasia Campanella

It's happened to every bar and nightclub enthusiast at one time or another. You and your friends are waiting in line for your favourite bar or nightclub, chatting away with a sense of anticipation about what the night may have in store for you. As the line shortens, your senses heighten as you take a look through the open doors to see your fellow bar and nightclub enthusiasts drinking, dancing and having a good time. As you go to show your ID to the bouncer, your 6th sense tells you something is wrong as one of the bouncers close the velvet rope in front of you. You're anxiety is confirmed as the other bouncer takes a step towards you with their hands out and says the words that every bar and nightclub enthusiast dreads "sorry guest list only."

Many a night has been ruined by these 4, seemingly innocuous words, so we decided to compile a list of ways you can hit back, and sneak into bars and nightclubs.

1. Lick and Press

Yep, a tried and tested method of getting passed the bouncers. It's pretty straight forward, just lick some ones entry stamp, and press it against you. Make sure you press the "legit" stamp against the same part of your arm, as some bars and nightclubs stamp the same part of the arm to catch people out. In addition, clear nail polish is also handy to reprint the stamp.

2. Fence Jump

This one works surprisingly well if done correctly. To start with, if it's a bunch of mates, don't do it all at the same time. Send one in first to make sure the bouncers aren't on to you. If that works, coordinate with the man (or woman) on the inside via your mobile phone to suss out where the bouncers are. When they're not looking, make your move, but whatever you do don't all of you try to camouflage yourselves by rushing into the crowd. Just chill at the fence, if you have a jumper put it on, if you were wearing it when the bouncers barred you initially then take it off. Lay low for and hour or so and the hit the dance floor.

3. The Fire Exit

Most bars and nightclubs have them and although they are generally well guarded, if you have someone on the inside to distract the bouncer then this is a goer. It's not brain surgery, get someone on the inside to open it and walk straight in.

4. The "Guess" List

It's cunning, and extremely effective if you're a seasoned bar and nightclub enthusiast. When you see they are rejecting people at the door on account of the guest list, just listen to carefully to who is having the party. Once you have a name, sometimes this will be enough to get in, but if they are stricter, try get a look at the list and pick out a name (this is a lot easier then you might think. If one of you is in, then just hang around the entrance until you get a long enough look at the list to give your friends alibi's.

5. "I Work Here"

This one is good if your friends are already inside and you're the only one yet to get in. Instead of lining up like a sucker, just walk straight into the bar or nightclub like it's nothing unusual. When the bouncer, stops you, just look at them like their crazy and say, my shift starts in 5 minutes. Again this all comes down tho the execution, however you would be surprised how often this works (also it doesn't hurt to try this while drinking a Red Bull because "who would try and sneak in with a drink as well")

6. Flat Out Bribe

Bouncers aren't overpaid for their work, and a little extra cash on the side is a great way to make ends meet. Don't be shy about it, just ask "how much do you want to let us all in" and see what they say. If the price is right, pay them and you're in - sometimes this works out cheaper than paying cover charge, so it's a win-win for everyone.
