Visit Fin Garden As Part Of Your Iran Travel Package

Fin Garden of Kashan, Iran, is a fine example of the grand layout ancient Persians have long implemented in such green stunning environments. It flourished during the Safavid period. Shah Abbas I of Persia added some finer elements to within this area which became a traditional bagh in the village of Fin, near Kashan. Shah Abbas II added further improvements to it a few years later.

Later Qajar kings showed more interest in this walled green space. The history of the place speaks about the unfortunate murder of the Qajarid chancellor in Fin bathhouse located in the gardens. He was a member of the court of King Nasereddin Shah and was murdered by an assassin the king had sent there in 1852.

Innovative Watering Methods

Fin Garden is spread out over a huge 2.3 hectares of land and there are four circular towers at the sides. The techniques used for watering inside it are reminiscent of the Safavid, Zandieh and the Qajar periods.
