Dane Cook started his standup comedy routine in the early 1990s. He started out in New York City, but eventually relocated to the Los Angeles area and caught a huge break when he was invited to appear on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. This appearance helped expose him to a much wider audience and in 2003 he released his very first CD/DVD combo called Harmful if Swallowed. Shortly afterward, he introduced his next album, Retaliation. This next effort helped put Cook on the Billboard charts where the album sat at the number four spot. Subsequent albums that Cook has released included Rough Around the Edges and Insolated Incident.
Regarding his latest tour, Cook said on his website, "This follow-up tour is about hitting a bevy of unique states in my continuing quest to perform literally everywhere. Special surprise guests, brand new jokes and I'm off my diet so it's all about to go down!"
