subject: Dealing with temperature issues in a wet grinding system? [print this page]

Hey everyone. I work in a small chemical lab, and we've been having some trouble keeping our mixtures cool. We recently set up a basic Wet Grinding System to process some heat-sensitive materials. However, even with the cooling jacket running, the liquid gets way too warm after about thirty minutes of continuous operation. Has anyone else dealt with this? Are we just running the flow rate too fast, or should we look into chilling the water first? Any advice helps!
