Diane, a student from Poland, claims that there is no better way of celebrating New Year than going to the mountains with a couple of good friends, enjoying the unique atmosphere of snug chalets, skiing in the morning and then partying till dawn. "It now seems to be some kind of tradition, as we go to the mountains every year to celebrate New Year. The only thing that changes is the resort," she adds.
Another popular New Year's destination is the capital of Great Britain. As people tend to gather in some public spaces for such occasions, choosing this glamorous city for this special night cannot surprise anyone. Pierre, a driver from France, believes that he will have great fun that night, as he is planning to take his girlfriend to one of London's clubs and then at midnight go and see the fireworks display. "This is what I expect will happen: we"ll dance till we can't stand on our feet and then we'll see the fireworks, and then come back to the party. Sleeping? No problem with that as my friend promised to put us up for the night," he comments with a smile.
Tomas, a businessman from Germany, seems to be full of expectation and optimism. "Last year I decided to spend New Year at home. Of course, I regretted it afterwards, but it was too late to book anything that would suit my needs. So this time I started with hotel price comparison and ended with booking a room in a relatively cheap hotel, with seemingly excellent standard, on Tenerife. I've always dreamt of going there and now my dreams are going to become reality!" Getting a bit of warmth and sunrays proves to be a fantastic idea for those people who, above anything, need to get some rest. And who says that it has to be cold in winter and there is no proper New Year celebration without a couple snowflakes? Another advantage of this kind of celebration appears when people compare hotels prices "" some destinations are just more affordable at this time of year.
The ideas of how to celebrate New Year are as different as people who create them, and the actual way in which we celebrate this night depends only on our creativity. Clubbing, partying, dining, skiing, or swimming in the sea are just a few ideas that can turn this year"s celebrations into the unforgettable experience.
