Points Of Interest On Australia's Gold Coast

The Gold Coast located on the East Coast of Australia, is among the world's most popular holiday destinations. Every year millions of tourists visit the Gold Coast basking in the sunny year round climate while enjoying everything else it has to offer. Here, there is never a lack of things to do or places to see. The area is adorned with sandy beaches, astounding theme parks, and an expansive night life. Surfers Paradise is a major point of interest on the Gold Coast. While the name may suggest otherwise, Surfers Paradise is famous for much more than just surfing. The area offers an abundance of activities and attractions for the whole family. Bungee jumping, mini ice skating and a visit to Dracula's Haunted House are just a few options for visitors to Surfers Paradise. The locale also houses countless numbers of restaurants and night clubs.

To see the animals that make the are famous you will want to go to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. The place is set up so that you have a chance to get really close to the animals. They have some informative lectures and also feeding times so that you can see how active these animals can be. The kangaroos are really cute and the crocodiles are scary with all those teeth.

If you have little ones then you will want to thrill them with a trip to Dreamworld. They will have a chance to get all involved in activities featuring Spongebob and Dora the Explorer. There is a spot dedicated to the wiggles that has a bunch of dinosaurs to have some fun with. There is dancing and a meet up with Captain Feathersword too.

For a more relaxing experience, the Ecopark Fishing World is the place to be. This fishing park sits on a garden setting located in Luscombe. It has ten ponds filled with an array of fresh water fish. Whether new to fishing or well advanced, the park is designed to accommodate all, including those interested in fly fishing. While most people go there to fish others prefer to take photographs, have a barbecue or just merely relax.

If you have ever dreamed of watching the whales this is the place to make that happen. There are Australian Humpback whales that seem to enjoy the attention that they get from the tour boats. They will put on a show for those watching. To see the whales you will want to time your visit right. The season is from the first part of may until November.
