Agra Fort

The creation of the Agra fort commenced approximately in 1565 when the original structures were built by Akbar. Shah Jahan reinstate most of these with his marble formations. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Nearly 176 km. from Delhi it is a incredibly extraordinary wilderness - the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the supreme water-bird sanctuaries in the entire world. The big lake and marshland was unnaturally shaped by the Maharaja of Bharatpur in the middle of approximately 19th century. By construction of small dykes and barriers and redirecting water from an irrigation canal, he rehabilitated this low lying region into an excellent wild bird shooting preserve. The jungles all around the lake at Bharatpur harbor the sambar, chital, nilgai, jackal, hyena, fox, mongoose and porcupine.
