Changes in the body are inevitable when a woman becomes pregnant. The signs of being pregnant may vary with each woman's experience; however, they may be akin to each other. The symptoms that women get when they are having PMS or pre-menstrual syndrome is kind of similar to those that women feel when they are pregnant. The main difference is that women who are pregnant tend to have higher body temperature.

Implantation bleeding is perchance the earliest sign that will determine when a woman is indeed pregnant. This type of bleeding occurs 6-12 days after a woman has conceived. Apparently, a missed period is one of the most common signs of being pregnant; however, there are cases where a woman will still bleed even when she is already pregnant, although it is very light.

1. Food cravings: It may not be the most certain sign of pregnancy but still is worth taking into consideration especially if it is coupled with the other signs below.

2. Darkening of areolas: If you do notice that the skin around the nipples getting darker, then it is quite possible that you have successfully conceived

3. Frequent urination: The reason for this is when an embryo has been implanted and the production of the human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG hormone has started.

4. Fatigue: That tiresome feeling like you are exhausted all the time is due to the fact that when pregnant, the body produces high levels of the progesterone hormone.

5. Tender, swollen breasts: Similar to some women who experience this symptom when they are about to have their monthly period, the breasts of pregnant women also become increasingly tender when touched.

6. Morning sickness: While some women experience this, a lot of others luckily do not. It can be very inconvenient because you will be feeling nauseated at times not just in the mornings.

7. A positive home pregnancy test: If this should be the case, then it is time to pay your doctor a visit to further confirm your pregnancy.
