Considering the history, a 2 test match series does not adequately give either side the billing they deserve. The sense of spectacle is lost. Add into the mix India's fine middle order and the unfavourable conditions for the quicks and you have an indication as to how unenviable Australia's preparations are. A gruelling task awaits.

BCCI has changed the tour schedule against Australia, now the first and second test match will start one day earlier than the initial announced schedule. First Test match at Mohali will be played from October 1st to October 5th 2010 while second test match between India and Australia will be played from October 9th to 13th October 2010 in Bangalore. The venue of three ODI's has been announced by BCCI which will be Kochi, Goa and Vishakapatnam.
Despite it still being 96 days until the opening Ashes test at the Gabba on November 25th, the anticipation from both Australian and English supporters is beginning to grow intensely.
