Watching television and shopping online is forecast to rise as tablet technology makes instant product buying portable and thus, continually available. The expected growth of multi-channel retail is based on nearly a half of all todays transactions are either researched or completed online.

In addition, the monetary value likely to be greater when consumers use more than one channel to complete their purchase.

The retail sector is seeing the growing use of tablets as a virtual cash register that simply sits on the users lap. At the same time as watching television ads, prospective customers can now research online at price comparison sites, check other suppliers obtain advice and reviews from social networks to help with the purchase process.
