Can I Use An Anti-barking Device On The Neighbors' Dogs?

This is a great question but of course as with many questions we have to look at the background info first. The only info we have at the moment is that your neighbors' dog is barking excessively. What we need to know is.... there has to be a legitimate reason for it ? Now if you really sat down an thought there is no possible legitimate reason for barking then you are mistaken. A dog often barks because there is something going on. What sort of things ? I hear you ask. Well here is a possible list of things it could be.

1. Have you checked to see if there are animals in the garden such as; raccoons, rabbits, etc. These are very likely to make the dog bark. This can be a pain to check since you can't walk around your neighbors' garden.

2. It could be people jogging near the gate/fence. This can be allowed to an extent, but should be considered within the area you live in. If you're within a busy area and the barking is intolerable for you, you might need to buy an anti-barking device.

3. Are you making a lot of noise in the front or backyard such as music, etc. This will most likely set most dogs into a barking frenzy.

4. Do you know if someone within your household is annoying the dog?

If and the neighbor's dog is still a pain in the neck. Then you have no option but listen to first stage of our grand plan.

Stage 1: as you may have guessed, is to discuss the problem politely with your neighbor. They should take responsibility. If your lucky, they will use one of several training methods and/or anti-barking devices at their disposal to fix the situation. Don't forget to leave them time to train the dog if they don't bite your head off!!! Rome wasn't built in a day.

Stage 2: the neighbors ignore you, maybe even swear at you just for asking. What a rude bunch huh! You still have a secret weapon to use. That is a radio system anti-barking device. These devices are remote and because of that do not need a collar. They generally use ultrasonic frequencies which go off if they dog barks too much to make it stop barking. 'Amazing', I hear you shout!. Unfortunately though. It still costs you cash and should not be abused!!! Dogs' barking is in their nature and shouldn't be completely eradicated if possible.

So everyone I hope that solves your problem. I strongly recommend talking to your neighbors first. If you have tried all you can with the neighbors, but it does come down to having to use an anti-barking device, taking the law into your own hands.
