In the Night Garden Episodes and Characters

In the Night Garden...is a TV series for very small youngsters, age range one to four years old, that was created by Ragdoll Productions for BBC TV and aired from March of 2007 to March of 2009. Its creators developed it to be a show that helped small children wind down from their day and get ready for bedtime, for that age range is the time when small children are trying to assert some independence and control and are therefore at times uncooperative with their mothers and fathers about going to bed. There is in addition a good deal of different In the Night Garden toys and other playthings to go with the TV show. In the Night Garden...has 100 episodes in all, and each and every 1 of them features a bedtime story.

These titles alone suggest the sense of the series, and they in addition introduce many of the unusual but charming characters that populate the program.

The character In the Night Garden Iggle Piggle is played by Nick Kellington. He is a blue creature featuring a sideways red mohikan. He constantly has his red blanket with him, reminiscent of the blue blanket that was generally carried all around by Linus Van Pelt of the Peanuts cartoons. He generally falls flat on his back every time he will get surprised. Iggle piggle always arrives at the beginning of and leaves the Night Garden at the conclusion of every single episode. He at all times comes and departs in his little boat, with his blanket to become utilised as a sail. He never speaks. Alternatively, he's got a bell in his left foot, a "squeak" sound in his middle, and a rattle in his left hand. Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka are his very best buddies.

In the Night Garden Upsy Daisy is a "girlie-girl" persona preformed by Rebecca Hyland. She has a brown complexion and wears brightly coloured clothing, and she resembles a rag doll. Upsy Daisy has a special bed that can move her throughout the Garden, and she from time to time requires to pursue and catch the bed when it thinks for by itself. She adores blowing kisses and offering hugs. Her hair stands on end the moment she will get astonished or excited. Her skirt can turn into a tutu as soon as she would like to boogie. She in addition owns an orange megaphone on a stand that she loves to sing via, but this does get annoying to other Garden denizens.

Makka Pakka is portrayed by performed by Justyn Towler. He is short and circular and cream-colored, and dwells in a cave. Three rounded protuberances on the top and each part of his head signify stones that he likes to stack into piles. He enjoys stacking items, which can also incorporate other characters, as he is a neat-nick.
