Take Ca Mcle Courses Online

There are a handful of different options available for CA MCLE self study and participatory credits that are approved by the State Bar of California. Specific information does vary, so if you think that it is something you are interested in you will need to look to the official Bar website for information that is identified in each separate activity. There are ongoing opportunities available for CA MCLE courses as follows:

The Online Audio State Bar Online CLE for Participatory Credit is available and is a relevant, fast and convenient option. The Bar publishes a catalog that has all kinds of information about more than 550 different seminars that total more than 650 hours of online credit. On the Internet you can view section programs for participatory credit, and there are 125 seminars in the specialty areas of Ethics, Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession and Detection/Prevention of Substance Abuse. 450 of the seminars are done by California attorneys themselves. These programs are very popular and are available at both broadband and modem connection speeds, and these are available for participatory CLE credit.

For Self Study CA MCLE credit, there is the Versa Tape Company and the California Bar Journal MCLE on the Web available. The Versa Tape Company holds a large collection of CDs and audio cassettes of the educational programs that are sponsored by the Bar, and attorneys are able to search for key words to find programs on their State Bar page. They have an excellent website available and also can be reached at 800.727.8883.

The California Bar Journal MCLE on the Web is a website and program that has available low cost self study programs and activities that are approved by the California State Bar to count as appropriate credit, and all of the information can be found on the State Bar s website. If you are an attorney or participant with special needs of various types, there is also help available to assist you with anything you might need. You can contact the State Bar of California Office of Meeting Services at 415 538 2210 or TDD 415 538 2231 for hearing impaired.

There are also many private groups with websites on the Internet that offer courses and programs to fulfill CA MCLE requirements; just be sure that if you are interested in one of these websites that everything they offer has been approved by the California State Bar for Continuing Legal Education.
