subject: Some High Risk Underbelly Types Of Insurance: Las Vegas Insurance [print this page]

Most people who buy insurance want to avoid things that sound risky. It is especially ridiculous then that some those same people will buy certain unscrupulous products that have more holes than coverage. Paradoxically, there are some special types of insurance with extreme restrictions, which were created mostly for a specific type of dumb customer. It's not even close to adequate coverage for the most part.

Las Vegas type insurance is a fancy name for insurance that is very incomplete and has only very partial coverage. It includes things like accidental-death insurance, as well as rush hour liability insurance. Oftentimes it can be found in situations like the airport vending machine. Yes, you can actually things like this in some places (how unscrupulous, right?) Well, guess what type of people buy these insurances- easy prey. This is like gambling with your payout-most things I'm not covering, except for 1-2 remote possibilities.

The first one, accidental death insurance, has crazy pitfalls and restriction provisions. It accords that you only get coverage if you die in an accident. So, of all the many ways to die, the insurer decided to help you out with one method. Why bother with something like this in the first place? The obviously more respectable decision is to get good life insurance, so if you die from sickness your family will also be covered.

The next type of insurance is hilarious. As much as some people hate rush hour, some have actually decided they need to ensure their liability against lawsuits only during these hours. So it goes something like this: between 7 AM and 8:30 AM you are covered with double lawsuit protection. After a 8:30 a.m. on that day the insurance goes away until a time when people come back from work. The coverage appears again from 4:30 PM to 6 PM. So if you like to make sure nobody will hit you while you're in rush hour, but at no other time, in rush hour liability insurance is definitely for you. Now if you were smart, you just opt for higher liability coverage with your existing auto policy.

The sad part about these type of (legitimate) but still very scheming insurance is that it might actually target nave people. Some people may not actually have an education, or know anything about insurance, so they just grabbed the first thing that comes along. This is obviously a recipe for surprise, so get your education about insurance, and don't be one of the laughing stocks of these unscrupulous insurance companies. You can learn more about these fascinating, but worthless products by chatting with your agent and having some laughs. You can also pray for everyone who would buy such items!

I would also say that is quite questionable why governments would allow such ridiculous insurance. However, it's termed Las Vegas insurance for a reason. Now if David the consumer knew a bit about Las Vegas at all, they would know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
