Yes, you have to pay for the gas when you have a rental car, but at least you are your own boss when it comes to getting around. Pay a flat rate and have the peace of mind that comes without having to depend on someone else for transportation.
It is a lot easier to park wherever you want, have it available whenever you want, and have the comfort and convenience that comes with renting a car rather than depending on public transportation to get you around on a vacation that is supposed to be about fun and relaxation.
